Oh yeah ... I forgot the option Air Hood Inlet ... that is the Ram Air ... I believe it's code 601 or 611 ... it's on the PHS of course ...

HD suspension another option ... there's more ...

It's a real nice car. Great condition but not show condition. Others might see it as show but I'm fairly fussy. The paint job (Atoll Blue) came out great. I have one garage scratch on the passenger side and someone bumped my endure in a parking lot and it has a quarter sized "rash" mark on it. But when we painted it we did the endure RIGHT and it hasn't had one crack since ... that is highly unusual especially for a car that is driven regularly.

The car starts and drives EXCELLENT. Plenty of power. It is an original 455 with Ram Air and 4 speed. It has original comfort weave on the seats but the "piping" didn't come out good ... it was done before I bought it. Put new piping and clean the vinyl and it would be awesome. Could use some new carpet and a couple of pieces of plastic dyed.

It came with over 20 options ... top of my head ... 455 ho, 4 speed (m-21close ratio not m-20), posi rear (standard 3:31 gears with a/c), a/c (not working and have never had it looked at), rally gauges, hood tach, console, floor mats, remote mirror, sport wood wheel (I have the original and it's in amazing condition but added a formula wheel that I liked better), it has an original judge wing on it but that was not original to the car, it has am/fm radio but the original am radio comes with it, rally wheels, atoll blue paint, blue interior, and black top. Believe it or not the car was not originally ordered with P.S. so I hunted down all numbers matching parts and had it installed. I had better steering ratio installed and it handles amazing! Without P.S. you couldn't steer the formula wheel in my opinion ... I'm glad I added it. Even the PS pulley is an a/c car matching #'s pulley. I can answer any question you have.

As for price that is always the sticking point. The last 2 455 4spd convertibles that sold at auction (Mecum etc) sold in the $90,000 range and they did not have the Ram Air and a/c (were way less optioned than my car) ... but they looked like SHOW CARS almost perfect. Can my car be that? Sure. But it would cost money ... and if you did it yourself ... time. But the nice thing is that you could put the money in and not lose money ... and there aren't many cars that this could be said about today. So I would price my car with a steep discount of course BUT would base my numbers on almost $100,000 value at auction. I would price the car that if you did the work you would come close to doubling your investment of the additional money and I think that's fair. So I guess the ball is in your court if you really want to talk further etc. The only reason I contacted you - to be honest - was because I was going to have the car brought up to that level and then take it to auction myself ... but that will take time and energy and I'm willing to discount significantly for someone else to profit from their own time and energy. Let me know.
