Just for curiosities sake, what would you ask for your empty E45 housing?
I'm also still a little unclear about what the 65 9779822 housing physically looks like. Would you be able to send me some good clear pics of what the casting and webs look like? This way I'll be able to quickly recognise one if I come across one. From there I could dig deeper in the date and axle codes. If you can send me some pics I'd really appreciate it.

John, I was told you are the man to talk to about decoding the Data tag on my 64 GTO, I have been able to get most of the info but there are a couple thingsI have no idea about. Especially the 3-2 on the upper right, nobody seems to know what that means. I can send you a picture of it if you'd like

John, I know you are a stickler for details. The notches on the 19.5 inch fan are to clear the protrusion in the center of the power steering pulley not the belt.
