    How the car theft rings do it. Your classic may head to Ghana. Pretty sure your late model did.

    The thefts get moved across the border, and no one is immune so best pay attention.

    You can keep your fob in a security foil surround, and not near a entrance where the portable scanners anyone can buy online, will pick up the transmit codes.

    I installed defeat circuitry on my Ford pickups after theft attempts. I estimate forced entry and ignition bust at 12 seconds total.
