Molly hoping you might still get this.
Saw it was Rick's Birthday on PY and sending this. Thinking of Rick and hoping you are doing good. Also hoping the SD TA is going good.

Hello friends of Rick. This is his wife, Molly. Letting you all know Rick passed away on December 6, 2022. He had been fighting extremely rare and aggressive cancer. Rick was so passionate about his cars (72 Firebird 455HO and 74 TransAm SD455) and helping people with questions and factoids about their cars. He had been on this forum since 2010. Rick was an amazing guy. We were married for 39 years; each others best friend. I am finishing his 74 TransAm so I will update with pics when it is done.

Rick, THANKYOU for the info. My cowl tag reads 12A and now searching for a company to add my #s to the new decal. I found the jack postings too. I need to hangout on PY more often and search more instead of bothering you.
    Thanks again bud !!

Rick, I need about three clips for the upper and lower door panel. These are the square one that fasten the upper and lower. Here is my address. You have been a great help.

Hey Bluebird, I used Calvert Racing engines in Denton for the rebuild on my 455HO motor. I was mostly pleased with him, though there were a couple of small details on the engine that I felt like one of his guys could have been more careful. If you are looking to rebuild it, I'd consider Calvert, or Jim Robertson (same name on PY) on the PY boards, he is in Abilene. Also Len Williams in Tulsa is the closest Pontiac specialist to our area. If you are just needing to have it tuned up or analyzed, I'd call Carr's Corvettes in Plano(www.carrscorvettesandcustoms.com) as I've heard great things about them. Also might ask the folks at DAPA in Dallas (dapa.org) as they have a lot of contacts they recommend in the area for our cars. Hope that helps, Rick Smith
