- I have had Pontiacs for over 30 yrs and drag raced for most of it, my last car was a 75 firebird, it was 3900lbs, I rebuilt a 455ci with unported 5c heads and a HC02 cam ,rhoads lifters, Q-jet stock intake, HEI, it had a TH400 with a shift kit, a Hurst 400 over stock Torque converter, and a 3.50 rear end, my best time was 12.5@ 110mph, I drove the car 150 miles to the strip, raced and back again, I now have a 66Lemans with a 350, I have a 400 to build into a 461 for it
