- My Dad bought this car new early '68. I bought it from him about 14 years ago. It had a repaint and some body work in 1984. Interior and engine untouched except new carpet. I bought it from him in 2000. Had major rust, leaky wheel cylinders, radiator leak, needed plugs , wires, core support rusting away, water pump leak, etc etc. Otherwise engine STILL ran strong. Worked on basics to make it road worthy, and in 2011 put her in the shop for restoration. Kept as many original parts on as possible
