LOOKING FOR MY GTO! I would like to find my original 1968 GTO convertible if it still exists out there. It was yellow with black top and interior, red pinstripes and red fender liners. It had 360 H.O. engine, hood tach, and a set of specially-made exhaust splitters (courtesy of Milt Schornak and Royal pontiac). It had AM/FM radio, Hideaway headlights, tape player and a set of special color-keyed prototype racing mirrors (installed for me by Packer Pontiac). I bought it new and had it Bobcatted at Ace Wilson's ROYAL Pontiac in Michigan. Traded it in on another car when I was in college and never saw it again. Wondering if it still lives. I once heard of rumor that it was in either North Carolina or South Carolina with a broken rear axle... but never got more info. THanks for any help finding my car.
