    1974 Firebird 455 with shaker as a daily driver. Have '74 stock intake #495106 but with '71 Q-jet 4MC.
    Questions: Should I block the EGR valve location holes with a plate? Should I close the exhaust crossover passage under the carb and block the choke heat stove location for the idle heat tubes? Do the EGR ports inside the manifold need to be blocked from the EGR reservoir at the bottom of the intake?
