Hello, my name is Adam. My name on this site is Merrik66. I had a question which I posted and it involved a 63GP. I’d ordered new lower control arm bushings but the inside metal bushing is smaller in diameter which also uses a smaller diameter bolt which fits loose to the frame. Someone chimed in mentioning you had a similar or the same problem with yours. So I thought I’d reach out. I’ve read drilling them out or pressing them out to press in the “right ones so that I can use the original size bolts (original) for proper fitment. Anyway, any direction or experience would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for any input. -Adam

Sorry Ken it took me so long to reply, I just got on for a moment today because I got the py news letter. We sold the Gp around May. June 12,2013 my wife had a brain anurism, lucky to be alive, but she lost her eyesight, and learning to walk etc. I go everyday for hours tobe with her. She told me once, the 66 Gto conv I'm restoreing for her for the last 20 yrs she might not be able to drive just about came true unless the man above could let her get somewhat well. Sorry for the tear jurking, but I really thank you for your kind gesture of going out you're way to help us. Thanks Bob & Marsha Baskey----------------------------------------------------------

A Freemont built GTO will have a different engine code than the rest of the 49 state cars, and will also have the rare AIR setup as well as a specific carb.

Hi there. I have a 67 GTO from Calif that's very near all original. I'm trying to determine if the carb is original and can't seem to get any good info. Can you point me in the right direction? Hope you can help, thanks!
