Hi Adam!. Sorry if I missed any comment on a thread I started. Yes, this drove me crazy for a month or 2. I tried multiple fixes. The set I received from the PO of my '63 wagon gave them to me. I didnt notice until I pressed them in that the round bushings sleeve was too small. Ordered a few replacements from various places but all the same. Tried to remove the center sleeve and replace with a larger sleeve from my originals but the rubber started to get torn when pressing back in. Finally I noticed that the OD of the sleeve was the same on both, the difference was the thickness of the sleeve wall. (smaller had a thicker wall, larger had a thinner wall. Bought a good 9/16" drill bit and carefully drilled halfway in from both ends. Problem solved. Not sure why I didn't think of that earlier. Rare parts makes the correct sizes but I already had the oval (front) bushings and they would only sell as a set.

I'm trying to locate a few things for my 66 2+2. Looking for a toploader 3 speed or an m 20. I'd prefer the 3 speed..dearborn I believe. I'm also looking for 66' Tripower carb cores. And last but not least a set of 093 heads. Can be bare, found some where I'm at but comparing prices availability, condition, shipping considerations etc. my name is Adam. Call or text would be fine. Or pm me here too. 253 376 0059 thanks for any and all help.
