I have a 64 Tempest Conv. I have a console and the mounting bracket but can not figure out how to mount the bracket nor how the console attaches to the bracket. Is the bracket the only thing that holds to console to the floor pan. Bracket looks pretty small ... 10" maybe.

I have a 64 Tempest Conv. with front bench. I bought two buckets and mounting brackets (2). How do I mount the brackets. Do I drill into the floorpan OR is there some other way.
