    Hi,
From what I have read, the Chrome Front Bumper in lieu of the Endura front bumper was put on 1519 of the 1968 GTOs. It has the GTO logo on the driver's side insert and has a different Pontiac Arrowhead in the center than what is on the Tempest.
My dad bought the car new and said that he did not think the Endura bumper would hold up.

Hi! Just saw that you added a comment about the Aleutian Blue GTO. And looked at the picture of your car.
Very Nice one too! But I also noticed it had a chrome front bumper? I have heard that there was a few made that was. But I also heard that it was rare?
I just finished up a restoration on a 68 Tempest Convertible. We were thinking of making a clone GTO. But everyone does it. So we just installed the GTO hood. And even a 69 Judge rear spoiler. And we are not going to put any of the name decals on it at all. Just leave people guessing what it is.
I was wondering how rare the chrome bumper cars were?
    Great car too!
