Arent 12 bolts supposed to be very strong? For street use, even with drag radials, it should be able to easily handle the driving you said you do... if it saw heavy drag strip use with good traction...

Update- just got off the phone with Cardone & Lares Tech, both said that a good PS fluid is best to use in these pumps, but they both said ATF is perfectly fine to use & wont cause any problems...
