I'd got ahead and install the polylocks, if you have clearance for them.
With the ARP studs already there, you're good-to-go on polylocks.
You may want to get one of the shorter-styles and make sure you double-check your clearance to the valve covers.

I have one on a stock block that was in my 69,no issue diff from the stock aftermarket pan for me.Still have the engine on a dolly in my garage.Tom
