I recently put a 55 amp in my 67 GTO, I got it from NAPA Auto Parts. It was clocked at 12 O'Clock like the original.

There is a decent looking '67 on San Francisco craigslist. White with black vinyl top and pretty straight. Also 81, 000 miles and 2nd owner since '68. Price is $15,500 IIRC.

Anything else and a complete turnoff. Especially those new lame HOLLEY lights.

Call me crazy but there is something to be said for a good carburetor. Set the float levels, idle mixture, and choke properly and you can enjoy your car year round without much hassle.
