Make some progress. Went with the modified original glass scoop. Wanted the sd scoop but was just too wide where it needed to be in relation to the carb to look decent.

I believe Meaux did some back to back dyno tests and the dimpled ports made more power on the application he was testing.
There should be more golf ball experts in cylinder head r&d��

Another thing to the OP, get a shaft recommended for tight lash for street. Less beating on on those lifters.

Every 500 plus cube roller motor I've run liked the 1150 at the track over 1050,. Tried 1250s too and seem like the 1150 was the sweet spot. Just my junk, mind u.
