So, I was right, that pic isn't a D98 stripe....

So, I was right, that pic isn't a D98 stripe. It's an eyebrow stripe. The Lemans got the solid and the GTO got the 9 stripe sword stripe for D98. Well, after viewing all their options it's confusing....

WOW, a TIGHT 11" that will stall to 4000 rpm ! If that is true, I suppose converter technology HAS changed a lot.

Back in '75, our Stocker had a 9" racing...

The problem that one tries to solve with a main girdle is largely due to the main caps "walking",plain & simple.

And that problem does indeed exist with stock pontiac blocks,especially @ higher HP...
