What I see is a 64 that has been wrecked and had a 63 front clip put on. If they did that I would start looking for damage that may not have been repaired well. Like frame and suspension.

Thanks, I appreciate your concern. The tube portion is on the rear carb and the rod portion in the center carb which I believe was the generally the "safest" arrangement.

That would be the choke fresh air supply. Usually has a short piece of hose to connect to a pipe that goes to the choke stove in the manifold.

You must have the carb with the choke stat attached...
