Yep, Pertronix died on me twice - 2 different units. Never again - not for that kind of money. NOS Delco points work great. No more problems.

I bought one and sent it back. Mirror glass flopped around all the time. Find a factory one and rechrome -restore it, you'll be glad you did.

These shims will probably take care of that. You'll need to figure the correct angle / degrees but you'll need a pair shims to correct your pinion angle....
