Our male 7 yr old Golden Retriever has never lifted his leg. He just kind of leans forward and lets it rip. Every male Golden we have had has done the same thing.

we have english mastiffs, they lift when they want to hit it high but the oldest kinds of crouches when he feels like. Both of these guys are over 200# with the oldest approaching 260
