Sigy's is the only machine shop I know of here in Colorado that I've seen actually assemble a Pontiac correctly. I'm located in Longmont and know a few other Pontiac folks here in Colorado as well....

Ended up pulling the drive train and dropping the pan. Long block spared and I did test a number of valve springs, all were spot on in spec for the Manley 22407's.

Gauge Fixed - hope someone else can find this useful

Thanks to Quick Silver round tabling this with me for awhile I've now got my temp gauge working. In my case the needle just plain fell off. But for anyone that needs information how to test, etc....
