The studs were on all '70's, '71's and most all '72 ram air cleaners. The studs were just not used on '72's since the brackets they attached to were deleted for that model year

Your '70 should have come with the clips pictured below. Ames sells them for $32 a pair on eBay or thru their catalog. They are clear so no need to paint them....
