IMO the smallest stroke is the way to go. I go mid nines with a 3.75" stroke with a 198ci motor . More stroke will just make it harder to get down the track ..

Depends on the combination. A smaller carburetor will usually be more responsive down low and can 60ft better than a carburetor that is to big... But an engine the truly needs a 4500 and is set up...

We use 1/2 and 3/4 groove main bearings in Crower and Moldex billet cranks which have straight shot oiling. I like the extra support for the crankshaft in the cap area.

Update. Builder found a piece of casting on the check ball. Cleaned it out, span it up and went to 60lb. Don't know how it got there, I took the new pump apart before dropping it off to him.
