Had a 77 SJ same color with sunroof and 400. had 128k miles on it whne I sold it. Still rode better than just about any other car I had. Was driven to FL by the next owner, he just had new tires...

Gonna convert one of mine to 4 sp one day. Won't kill the value. Will be much more fun.

Would love to put the 455 HO in a 72 as well.

Front sheetmetal does not come off, you may be able to drop the condenser down a little and clear the cam. IS your ac charged? if not no biggie. just pull it. if it is just try to loosen it up...

69-71 GP bracket is different because the engine is set back about 5 inches...GTO has engine mounts on the cross member and the GP has them behind the cross member. the gto z bar hits the frame...
