I jack up the rear end, fire it up and run it...

I jack up the rear end, fire it up and run it through the gears a few times. Check the fluid level, rinse and repeat. I also run Type F fluid.

The seam needs to be at the trunk lock striker or it will leak.

A thin bead of 3M Weatherstrip Adhesive completely around the bottom of the channel is needed.

Yours has a shield making it 2 piece. '70 - '72 GTO tail lamp lenses have a reflector, a back-up lens and I think 1 or 2 other...

You'd be surprised just how easy a driveshaft can cut through a floor pan. If that happens you may never have to worry about trimming...

The one I have shows various models with translucent pages you flip over to show what the car would look like with different trim options and such.
