No, your're right Phrel. ;) LOL

You know, I think everyone should at least add their real name into their sig. Then we won't get all discombobulated on names. It can get cornfusing at times around here.

Blue '66 11-04-2010 10:12 PM

Don't look Phil!

fyrffytr1 11-04-2010 10:33 PM

You're not going to drive it in the rain? Now, I really, really don't like you!!! :poke:

Blue '66 11-05-2010 09:11 AM

It's a non rain car;)Yea I forgot about the wipers, the antenna AND pinstripe!

I gave you fair warning Phil:old: LOL!

GT182 11-05-2010 09:26 AM

Looks great Eric! And I try and keep mine out of the rain too.

Blue '66 11-07-2010 05:41 PM

Finished moving today to Mo.I left the car down there till after thanksgiving.

Don't worry Phil I still have alot to do.We had trouble with getting power to everything, the engine harness was not locking correctly to the backside of the fusebox(firewall side)So I have to buy a new engine harness that was only 2 yrs old! Also had no dash lights but I had headlights.

The engine sound good,it going to be cold natured as the crossover is filled in the heads

When I get my computer setup to the interweb I wil post some pics of the car OUTSIDE shining in the sun and one with David (he painted the car)standing next to the car.

fyrffytr1 11-07-2010 08:26 PM

Those are just minor bumps in the road. Did you put a new headlight switch in?

Blue '66 11-08-2010 09:05 AM

I put a new headlight switch on before we left Texas 3 years ago, also bought a new battery back then.I have to exchange it for a good one before I go get the car.

So do I Gary. Mostly because the wiper motor has been out for so long and Im too lazy.

Its been a long time coming but congrats! It looks great.

GT182 11-08-2010 03:12 PM

Paul, NAPA has or can get them. I got one up here from NAPA and it worked fine..... In fact it's still working, unlike the junk ones Auto Zone sells.

I don't take mine out in the rain due to a water leak under the dash on the passenger's side. Got to check that out this winter.

Blue '66 11-08-2010 11:21 PM

I got mine at O'reileys,$50 something.I don't have the squirters and rubber lines to the washer pump.

I dread to long trip down there to get the car:(

Just leave it and I will pick it up. There might be a few parts I could use on mine.

50 bucks ain't bad at all. And no, I don't have the lines for the washer system either. The squirters and pump are there but that's all. Someday maybe I'll get the rest, but I don't really need it.... so far.

Thanks Gary but I'm still lazy. I'm the kinda person that if I don't feel an immediate need to get something done, it probably will never get done. As is the case here. I haven't been caught in the rain for a few years and just in case, the windshield is well waxed with Rain X

Back to topic. :D

Same here. That's why the blower motor still isn't hooked up in my car. I drive with the windows down. I too never hooked up my squirters.

Mine works but the heater core had a leak so I by passed. Again, something that will probably never get done because I never use the heat. Its ALWAYS windows down.
