They screw into two reinforced tabs or bosses on the underside of the hood behind the slits the screens slide into. The bosses are thicker and made to accept the screws. This post shows them and what the OEM screws look like. Hope this helps

Is it a Ram Air III or standard?

It's 4spd a/c car but not ram air, little bit of a bummer. It's the same as the one you had in eBay, did that sell.

Is it really rusty on the bottom side, too? i.e. rear frame rails, floorpan, trunk pan? (I'm guessing with all the holes around the back window that the trunk is also gone).

No very odd trunk solid and floor pans were solid feeling also, she parked it Around 91 and covered it cover is beat but looks like water pooled up on vynal top trim and rotted through. Needs both full rear quarters rear sail passenger door skin and fender building on drivers side saved that side. She traded in her 68 gto and Speacial ordered this car.

If the underside can be saved without major surgery, I'd put value at around $2500. It needs a ton of work, but a nicely optioned matching number car with a lot of the original bits is a good starting point ...

Thanks owner will be back in town in two weeks, I'm thinking the same on price. I think she contacted Ames to see if they would like to purchase, at least they have all the parts it will need!
