So, a little shy of his original asking price of $9950. Yet, $610 is still 4x what it's worth...

People see a Judge convertible get $300K, so heck an 89 Lemans (hey, it's only 20 years newer than a 69!) must be worth $10K! So, I'll give people a bargain and price it a little less.

bonneville Joe 03-01-2010 07:50 PM

I noticed in the craigslist ad he dropped it to a bargain of only $6000. Shoot, with a Maaco $200 paint job it'll be a $40,000 show car.

Im about to piss my pants reading this thread.

No, to be at the $40K level, he would have to cobble up and install a Judge-like spoiler. Now, if he added a cool side stripe, he could call Barrett-Jackson.

Geez, this guy must be related to the LeMans guy. I didn't know blue POS '89 Pontiacs were all the rage now.

That's an 87 T/A junker for $9500. He takes off the 9 and it's priced right.

Psychiatric wards could recruit new patients from craiglist car ads.

bonneville Joe 03-03-2010 06:08 PM

I'm always on there looking for parts and cars and treasures. At the bare minimum they are always good for a laugh. I can't believe what people think things are worth, and the horrible spelling and grammar is awesome..

'sup y'all

Sounds like a great guy to be around. For about 3 minutes. After that I wouldn't want him all up in my bizniss. He manged to get every low rent colloquialism known to man in just a few sentences.

This thread will be awesome. I'm on a boat board and we have one there, it's hilarious!

This one is cheap and all, but if it "ran beautifully" when he parked it, why did he park it at all?

One of the old vintage "power cars". Ran beautifully last time I drove it, but that was back in 1995. It has been sitting since then, so it is not in drivable condition. Good for a restoration, or to use for difficult to find parts. Cars from this vintage that are still in fairly good condition are hard to find, so whether it's fixed up to run or to use for parts, it could be valuable to someone with an interest in this type car. Call Mike at or reply by email.
