Engine block off plates(for storage or masking)
Steel plates to block off intake ports, exhaust ports, fuel pump, oil pump and distributor. I have both d-port and round port exhaust flanges available. Great for engine storage or masking for engine cleaning/painting. I have them listed on eBay for $45 a set but will sell them here for $40 a set plus shipping. Pictures of the plates can be seen in the eBay ad below. I will have a bunch at Norwalk again this year also!

I bought some exhaust flanges from him. Good pricing and excellent piece. Good guy to deal with.
|
Great pricing. Good deal, esp. w/ shipping.
Good to have options to the ABS versions available. |
Would you be willing to sell just the round port exhaust plates?
|
P.M. sent

Plates
I would like to give a big THUMBS UP to Alex, I bought a set of D ports and Round port plates from him. When they came by way of USPS the box was busted open and all that remained was one center port plate for D port head. I contacted my post office here and sent Alex a e-mail telling him what happened and he replaced everything, I received them in mail and all was there.
Thanks' Alex Don: |
Good to hear that. I got a completely open, empty box. Alex has assured me that it's on the way but not here yet.
|
Did he perhaps stop shipping/selling them due to shipping issues?!?
|
All the major shipping companies seem to be at war with the package they are getting paid to transport.
|
My original package was lost by USPS and Alex sent out a replacement to me ASAP. He told me out of 6 shipments that week USPS has lost 3.... go figure! Alex is a standup guy and replaced mine, a business can't expect to do that for every package and still stay in business

Man that sucks to hear. I ship packages via USPS daily and only had one stolen off a porch in over a decade to someone I shipped to. No damaged packages ever. That is too bad.
Did you file insurance claims each time? I think $100 coverage is automatic with USPS. If anyone on the forums will be in Norwalk to grab me a round port set and will be willing to ship them then on my dime via USPS let me know. Thanks. |
I had an intake manifold to get lost for a long time and turned out they were using it for door stop at one of the post offices that it was traveling through, because the box had broken open and the address was missing. Can't remember how I tracked that one down.
Beyond that though, this is the first time I ever received an empty box with one of their stickers on it saying that it was passing through their own system in that condition. It even says "Return to Sender" ! https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...3f8bef8f9d.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...1545e0ab1d.jpg |
Having a buddy who owns a shipping store, 85% of items damaged he sees or hears of are due to poor and cheaply packaged boxes by customers. So often the wrong box is used for the weight or size of the item... or not securely taped etc.
|
Sounds like you might try ups if having problem with USPS.
I have had good luck over the years shipping many ways. Good product , just have to figure how to get it to buyers. Good luck Sent from my moto g power 5G - 2023 using Tapatalk |

It would be much lighter. That would not only save on shipping, but also make it less likely to break out of the packaging (less inertia). I've shipped a couple dozen of my timing gear alignment verification tools (photo attached), about 7" long and aluminum, via USPS in padded envelopes. Only weighs about 4oz. So far, have not had any problems at all. You've got a cool product, I'd be in the market to buy a set if you ever ship again. |
I don't know what ever happened to mine. No replacement package, no tracking ..?
|
Can't someone who has a set get them made in plastic? If so, I'll handle shipping for everyone as there was an obvious sender/shipper problem here

Don't see them in round port option... |

It appears that mine are out for delivery according to the tracking number. Sorry for your troubles Alex. I saw on the news that the brand new million square foot postal facility built just 5 miles from me is causing delays all over the place, maybe the entire southeastern region of the country.
So, could be just bad timing for you. |
Received my set today in good condition. Nice product and sorry you're having so many issues!

I have a bunch of sets at Norwalk, we are pitside, about 14 spots down on the very right side heading from the starting line. We have the 74 gto’s with twin turbos, one is red and one is orange. Stop by and pick them up if interested!
