Upper Fan Shroud - 73 LeMans/GTO/Grand Am
 

Like the rest of us, I've had several of these in my LeMans history and not one has even been in good shape. Usually chewed up from a broken motor mount, or cracked because of the heat, I couldn't wait to go with an electric fan just to get rid of all that bulky plastic. Any of the 5 or 6 of these I've had were always the same. Sadly, it also means I know how unlikely it'll be anyone has one in good shape are are willing to part with, but I'll ask anyway.

Anyone have one in good shape they are willing to part with?


I have a friend looking for a decent upper. I'm not even sure if this is an interchangeable part with the rest of the 73-77 family. Anyone know for sure? I'm sure if one changes both parts of the shroud, you could make it work, but if you kept the 73 lower, could you use an upper from a 75, as an example, with success? Would it look correct?

Mark they are the same on '73-'77 Lemans, Grand Am, Grand Prix. Grand Prix has a extra piece stapled to it {about 5-6 inches} that is a extension for the longer nose, but can be removed! I may have a good upper also will try and look tomorrow?

Lyn, I appreciate your patience. I had to rattle my friend's tree to finally get a response out of him. He has however, decided to pass on this piece. ( He and I have totally different standards btw.) Thanks for digging it out and snapping some pictures. I appreciate your time. It ended up being the two spots that he wasn't a fan of.
