1972 Firebird inner fender question

Last night, I did something really stupid. I was turning my truck around in the dark and backed into the front fender of my Firebird. Though ugly, the damage is fixable. Before I dig into this, I would like to know if the inner fender can be removed without taking the front end apart. It would be nice to be able to remove the dent while the fender is bolted in place, so I can monitor how it fits, while I straighten it.
The car needed a complete restoration anyway, so it’s not a big loss, but the fender looked pretty nice before I hit it. I’m just really irritated with myself right now.

Yes, it can be removed with the fender still attached. Common practice when replacing a leaking heater core.
