How much are you (is him) willing to spend? And, how nice does it have to be?
|
Under $300 would be nice. Decent usable condition is fine.
|
I'll see what I have. Does it have a California carb. on it (Van Nuys build)?
There is a restored one on eBay for $729/obo, repopped GM decal is close, but wrong. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=222309617730 |
It will have a later 76 carb on it so probably doesn't matter.
|
Since the vent tube are in different places for a '70 vs. a '76, it would be better to have the non-hole and have it drilled out.
It will be a couple days before I get out there to see if I can locate it and take pictures. Shipping will be an expensive part too. |

I have a very nice 71 Formula air cleaner. I got it in trade for a ram air cleaner from someone converting their car to ram air in the 80s. $400, I am pretty sure that it has original paint.
|
There is one on eBay right now so you can see how much they're going for or bid on it.

I had no time this week. I'm sure I have a '70 Norwood unit though I don't know about the lid.
|
Sorry, it's too nice to sell. Lid was found, show chromed.

See try it took so long but I finally have the air cleaner I told you about in my possession. My buddy's has it has been working alot and didn't have time to get me pics. If nobody else ever came up with one for you I can send you pics of this one. It's in great shape an even have a box to ship it to you. The price is right too. 267-246-6903
