Ames 1964-74 A-body motor mounts

It looks like Ames has new motor mounts available for 1964-74 A-body cars.

Part number N226A is for reproduction mount that is supposed to be thicker metal .150 thick compared to the Anchor .115 thick metal and proprietary rubber.

Part number N242A for Torq lok mounts.

None for the longer 455 frame mount?

I was pleased to see the addition to the catalogue, too. I'm probably going to buy the Torq Lok mounts for my '66 build pretty soon.

I just ordered a set of the Torq Lok mounts for my 67 LeMans and will see if they hold up as the ones that were in there were broken. The polyurethane mounts look like they are getting them from Butler. The problem with the polyurethane mounts is if they are too close to a heat source the rubber will degrade and fail. Not a good choice for RA/HO exhaust manifolds or if your header tube is close to the motor mount.
