'65 Catalina AC
 

Hey Guys-
I am in the process of getting ready to install the the AC unit in my frame-off 2+2.
It's the last big project left before finally finishing up! :)
I know that the aftermarket units are superior to the originals, but I want to keep the car as original as possible. So I'll be wanting a factory unit.
With that being said, is there an advantage to the Type 2 unit to the Type 1 unit?
Both were offered in '65, I am guessing (?) the Type 2 is an improvement over the Type 1 ?? I have parts for both types. Suggestions? Thanks!

use the long one the short round one wont look right.after market sanden compressor will last longer but you loose the s\factory look
