Air cleaner assembly/pan for quadrajet
 

I've got a R4-4MV Quadrajet carb and am in need of the air cleaner assembly. Can anyone advise on the correct pan/assembly?

It seems like it needs a spacer ring?

No spacer ring needed with an original Quadrajet air cleaner assembly.

What year & model of Pontiac are you working on?

If I recall right only Chevy and GMC pickup trucks used about a 2” tall metal spacer ring.

I found a dual snorkel that fit perfect. Yet another issue that over-analyzed.

...collected a bunch of them Q-JET AIr Cleaner base Spacers; 1" and 2" i tink. Probably worth power increas whenever they can be used.
