Shipping Weights
Hello, Looking at selling a 4 brl intake and exhaust manifold. Looking at getting an idea of shipping weight. The parts are still on the engine, was hoping to get an idea of shipping costs before I decide to remove the parts. Thanks

Just set it on a bathroom scale and add 1 pound for packaging.

I have a scale. I currently have an OHC6 engine for sale, but I have someone just interested in the intake and exhaust manifold, I was just wondering if someone knew the weight. The intake and exhaust are still on the engine, and I haven't decided if I want to sell separately, but I told the interested party I would look into shipping those parts and come up with a price. Just looking to see if someone shipped one recently and knew the weight so I didn't have to remove the parts. |
FWIW 55# Plus Packaging ...
Hope I'm not stepping on a fellow Cammers toes here but "I" might not sell off the manifolds if its a "COMPLETE and/or RUNNING" engine.
Once you do, the rest essentially become somewhat worthless due to shipping cost/restrictions. If they are date matched they are worth more so if you do decide to sell them be sure you make it worth your effort. In the past I've sold mix/match sets for 175/250 + Shipping. There are 1BC engines all over the internet but not very many 4BC's so again be sure it's worth your time. JM2C Cheers |
