#48 Ram Air III Heads
 

Very nice set of matched date code 1969 #48 Ram Air III heads. These heads are ready to run and will include the guide plates, aluminum roller tip rockers and locking rocker nuts. They were done by a machine shop in Central Florida and run on a stock 400 for five months until the head gasket blew between #4 and #6. I’ve posted a picture of a piston which shows how little run time the motor had. The heads are super clean and all threads are good. Anything that was questionable was replaced. I see several new valves. The prior owner had them done so I’m not positive of exactly how much was done but I do know the motor ran well and had very few miles before he blew the head gasket then sold the car. He kept the motor and planned to replace the head gasket but never got around to it. I bought the motor in a parts lot and will probably never use these heads. I can deliver them along the I-95 corridor between Melbourne and Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. I really don’t want to ship them but if buyer makes all arrangements, I’ll drop them off at shipper. $800. I have many more pictures.
