Neat car!

There's an interesting story associated with my '61 Bonneville...the original owner had previously owned a 1959 Bonneville, also painted Mandalay Red and with Tri-Power. When he bought this '61 he special ordered it painted the same Mandalay Red, and added 1959 Tri-Power emblems to the front fenders. Since your car is from California it's not the same one, but it looks like it could be. :)

More pictures.
Undercarriage is as clean as you'd expect for an original California car.
The best color combination. I have a video driving but don't know how to post it.
Tri-power , manual transmission car. There aren't many left, especially in this color combination, and with original California plates.

Great shot!
Looks the same except for the top color and tri-power badges.

The red/red really pops with all the bright-work in the sunlight.
Timeless.

Yeah, it was my first car I bought in Feb. 1964. 389 2 V 280 HP. Auto. $1100.
My dad painted the top RED for me.
Then I added 3x2's 3.90 gears and the rest is history .................
