Ok, I know that this isn't really a reproduction since they never produced them in the first place, but how about 16" or 17" Rally II wheels! You just can't get tires for 15" rims with very high speed ratings.

Forrest 03-12-2000 09:23 PM

how about 70-72 trunklids?????for gto lemans

How about '67 Firebird Front parking lamp housings?

Sign me up for the '70-'73 F-body taillight lenses too! Also, the '71-'72 F-body deluxe door panels(weren't the '73 deluxe panels the same too?)

Here's one that every '70-'73 F-body could use: A reproduction of the plastic front valance panel used on some '72 and all '73 models, even if done in Fiberglass, would be wonderful. The plastic valance looks and fits much better than the metal ones, doesn't require special mounting brackets (which those of us with the plastic ones originally don't have) and there are NONE available anywhere at any price that aren't broken. In fact, my cracked and somewhat broken one is the best example I've ever seen...

GP-K 03-24-2000 11:01 PM

I'll have to 2nd the request for '69 '70 (& maybe '71 & '72) GP quarters, inner & outer wheel wells, and fender patch panels. Some how, though I don't think there are a whole lot of 2nd Gen GP owners out there. But, I could be wrong.

K.

First a response- KevinDush, see my posting about Big Rally II's in the Suspension section.

How about full quarter panels for 67/68 Firebirds? I know that Classic Industries has them for the Camaros and it wouldn't take much to stamp some chevron depressions and an arrowhead cutout.
Thanks,

John

response:67-68 full rear quarters are on the way. 1969 FB's are already done.

What about a rear tail panel for 67/68 Firebirds?
Thanks-

John

response: Tailpanel is now available. See "Performance Years Stuff"

The front bumper and grills for a 67/68 Firebird. I heard that the bumper might be going into production through Goodmark.

Thanks-

John

Yes, front bumper is in the works as are the grills. Not from Goodmark though. Don't expect to see either before end of this year.

JC455 03-30-2000 01:17 AM

What about the Burlwood pieces in the interior? I know a lot of guys who need correct center dash covers and console trim.

Thanks-

JC455 03-30-2000 01:20 AM

Okay, this is the last request (I promise) for tonight...
68 GTO/LeMans/Tempest Ignition switches!

Once again, Thanks-

John

Good item, but 1 year only, Pontiac only and Tempest body style only. Don't count on it.

I have to second the GP (esp 71-72!)sheetmetal. At least patch panels for the rear quarters. A lot of these have vinyl tops, and you know what that means

Jojo 04-12-2000 08:51 PM

How about a "wood" steering wheel, 4 spoke circa 1964. Can't afford $1000.00 for an original.

response: We tried to do the 64 wood wheel 10 years ago when we did the 65-67 wheels. Unfortunately, a completely different process. That stainless ring running thru the wood rim is a killer. Something to consider... if it were reproduced then everybody would have one....isn't what makes those wheels so cool... that they are rare?

For Firebird:

'71 interior rear quarters (back seat). The ones with the decorative square.

'71 deluxe door panels.

Early 70's plastic seat belt holder parts for above the door. It has been documented.....Every original one ever made in the history of Firebird is now broken.

'71 chrome-back rear-view mirror.

Nose cone bird emblem for early 70's. Saw a mint one at '97 TA Nationals priced at $250 (unbelievable).

68GTO 04-21-2000 04:00 PM

I second 68 exposed headlight items.

Also 68 dash pads and vent's please.

Hey Chris & PY gang, How about reproducing the '73 to 81 Firebird deluxe interior plastic seatbacks. Unscratched & nonsunravaged virgin ones are impossible to find anymore. These could be done in the correct grain & could also be sold to the '73-77 LeMans & GrandPrix guys, along with CanAm owners. By molding it as a Firebird piece, the A & G bodies guys would just have to put up with the Firebird seat latch access notch. Or 1st molds could be modified so notch did not exist. Big market, big return...A big THANKS from the trenches.

SCOTT HILLIARD 04-21-2000 11:52 PM

HOW ABOUT 1969 GTO FRONT GRILL CHROME TRIM. HARD TO FIND THAT IS NOT PITTED THANKS.

Charlie Huntington 04-24-2000 05:38 AM

67 Firebird - the left side plate under the rear seat with the 2 studs that the front of the traction bar bolts to.

How about a *GOOD* reproduction of the '70-'74 Formula and '71-'72 GTO rubber Ram Air boots? The ones being produced now are pure crap. They don't fit the retainer rings properly (they fall out) and they split and start coming apart VERY quickly. I would pay twice the current price for QUALITY repros that fit and last like the originals.

Reed 05-16-2000 03:45 PM

I'd like to see the clips that hold the dash in for '68 gto. Also convertible pinch weld molding clips.
