How not to rebuild rear Trans Am caliper

1 Attachment(s)
I got this used rear WS6 caliper the other day for a good deal. Well I start taking this apart for a rebuild and someone packed it with wheel bearing grease:oogle:. I don’t know what this person was thinking lol. This is just the caliper piston, the caliper itself was packed with bearing grease up into the bleeder screw

Most likely installed by the same !d!ot that has use his new $150 cordless impact to warp the mounting flanges on his oilpan & valve covers.

Well I have seen the add for that locking grease gun coupling!

I guess a bleeder screw does kinda looks like a grease nipple. You'd have to crack it to get the grease in though. Do you stop pumping when it comes out the master cylinder?

That's friken hilarious.

Maybe it was done as a preservation measure and then put on the shelf for a rainy day.

Possibly semi-genius for long term storage, like another 50-100 years worth. lol
