parking brake pics?
 

need some pics of parking brake system,77 T/A.I pulled every thing off without thinking..does it use a rod to equalize the cable on the pass side? I have 2 rods and not sure if or which one to use.

No rods are used. Here's a pic. There's one front cable, the curved equalizer in the center, and the connector that joins the 2 rear cables.

Great pic. Note the painted rings on the driveshaft to show type, and the 3rd ring from rubbing cable when loose!

Do you know what the code rings are on the shaft, also I assume it was left a natural finish from factory, hence why they are all rusted.

They are a combination of two painted rings, no doubt done at time of balancing. More often than not they are a light surface rusted ring where paint has worn off now surrounded by heavy rust from 40 yrs earlier. It says the colours on the build sheet, many of the later years were Brown-Brown or Brown-Yellow perhaps.
