Aluminum brake drums
Aluminum brake drums for the A,F, and G body are now available. If your favorite Pontiac vendor does not have them youcan contact kirbanperformance.com
This was a very difficult project to do. If that was not so trust me larger companies than my company would have pulled it off years ago. They are made by A1 Cardone...I supplied the idea and sample set they of course spent the $$$$ and had the contacts. Quality is excellent. Everyone fully understands the advantages of aluminum brake drums. Less weight, never rust disburses heat better. We go them in stock. Used ones is liking playing the lottery once you blast them you usually discover heat cracks in them or their is not enough surface on them to pass oyur state inspections. We have offered them to all the various GM suppliers. National Parts does stock them. They even made them with the larger center hole so it fits the 12 bolt Chevy rear axles. in other words we have two different part numbers for these drums. denniskirban@yahoo.com |
Dang, now I can replace the crappy corroded ones I put on my Judge, and I won't have to enlarge the center hole for my 12-bolt.

so far mostly turbo regal owners are carrying these no gto companies which I fail to understand. denniskirban@yahoo.com |
I suppose this is the rear drums, not the front drums of 65-6 vintage.

I buy direct from Cardone one of just a few car mail order companies for the older cars that does. My mistake I meant to say these drums will fit the A and F body cars besides the G body cars....very popular with the Turbo Regals less weight no rust issues....looks good behind alloy wheels. denniskirban@yahoo.com |
They will fit my 64 GTO rear, right? Since I run open wheels they should look good. So how much for a pair from you?
|
What price have you been quoted from auto zone or elsewhere?
I can give you a special price I have them in stock....normal retail is $234.95 set Will fit your car also Max Performance now has the 1964 Hood scoops available to al GTO vendors I dropped them off today at their place....they were actually made in the usa and in California.... small world... denniskirban@yahoo.com Case your wondering a steel drum weighs 15 lbs 10 ounces these weigh 10 lbs 2 ounces.... |
$234 too steep for me. Weight is of no concern on a street car. Cardone has them on Rockauto for $97.00 each
|
To a GTO owner....I can do them for $200 for the pair to your door. I have them in stock not likely Rock Auto does since it is not a normal part....
you would have to call my office 215-766-1611 to get that price explain to christina I said ok.... denniskirban@yahoo.com |
Dennis , How much if I come up to your place to pick up?

That's a great part, Dennis!
These also came factory installed on 3rd gen F-bodies-- some, not all. I'm thinking mainly T/A's, Formies, and Iroc's. |

|
Both versions 10 bolt and 12 bolt aluminum drums are in stock simply call my office 215-766-1611 to place the order looking at $199.95 plus shipping. normal price is $234.95
