Rebuilding steering column

Looking at sending my column out to be rebuilt, wondering who some of you may have used. I'm not sure I want to convert it to tilt. If any of you have maybe share with me if it was worth it.

I did speak with a guy in texas GM Tilt I believe. Price and reviews seemed good to redo mine , no tilt.

Maybe there is a member on the board I should use?

How does the non-tilt standard column fit you? With me, I have no need for a tilt column in either of my GTO's ('65 and '67). The standard position of the column is ideal for me and I wouldn't change the position. If you are really big/tall/short/small, YMMV.

I rebuilt the original column for my '67 bird. It really wasn't that difficult, other than removing 27 generations of dirt dobber nests.

I think I'll keep mine non tilt for the same above reasons.

Thinking of just doing it myself, can't imagine there is much to it
