ATI Converter
I am selling a 8" ATI treemaster converter. It stalled around 5000rpm. It also has antiballoon plates. $500.00 plus the ride.

Considered this for my GTO. (468/700hp) Here's the reply from Ricky @ ATI.
I think it’s from 1991 by the serial number and looks to be a bit too loose for that type of motor. Thank you. Ricky Hults Sales Associate ATI Performance Products, Inc 6718 Whitestone Road Baltimore, MD 21207 T: (410) 298-4343 F: (410) 298-3579 E: rhults@atiracing.com |

My apologies...I mixed up your ad w/ irust's add. The serial # I gave ATI was for his convertor, not yours....will report back w/ my findings. Again, sorry for the mix-up.

I'm glad you guys got that straightened out. For a 700hp 455 in a 3500 lbs car this converter is going to be an excellent choice.

Do you have a middle engine plate if so how what size is it? ATIset my converter up for my mid plate so no shiming was required at all converter just pulled forward 1/8th" and bolted to the flexplate

I have a mid plate it is 3/16.

It came with spacers.

My current ATI tree master tight 3800 at 2800lb my 64 gto gets a 1.38 60ft. I was thinking a tight 5000 might be quicker what do you guys think? Joe
