Cruise to the 2019 TA Nationals
 

Time is near for our annual pilgrimage to the TA National's! Dan & I ('69 350 HO & '71 455HO Formula) will be driving down to Dayton from Michigan along with friends, Cory & Joe('95 TA) along our favorite country roads. If you'd like to join us we will rendezvous at Van Wert, OH at the McDonalds (in front of Walmart) on Rt 127 just north of Rt 30 (at the north end of Van Wert) around 1:30 pm on Friday, August 23.

We are hoping Norwood, Judge273, TATA, Sean, & more(???) can join us in our little Firebird parade! It's a nice support group to help each other if needed with any side-of-the-road repairs, which we hope never happens, but are prepared for.

I wish I could make it this year. I will truly miss seeing all my friends and the fun we have - especially Bob's Sweet Apple Pie. You guys have a safe trip and a good time at the show! I'll hope to be able to attend next year.

Craig and I will be running out the door about 9-10am in our route thru FW. 1:30 in Van Wert is on our agenda. Sadly the favorite pie place couldn't last...

Mike, is Sean going to join you too?

Last I heard Sean will not be driving. Even though he has many drivable TAs to choose from...

Therefore, Craig and I will make the course to the TA sojourn...

Sorry to hear Sean can't make it down. Maybe this sounds silly, but I really look forward to the drive as much as the event. Yes, I believe Jeff will be riding with one of us.

Ok, we'll rendezvous with you two at McD's around 1:30. It is too bad that Baileys (? ) closed. They were a fixture in Van Wert for 75-80 years. I guess we could get apple pie at McD's (haha)!

Have a great time this year, everyone! Unfortunately, my schedule won't allow a trip to Dayton this year. I was hoping to bring an 18,000 mile '73 455 Formula survivor car. See you in November though!

Sorry to hear that you won't be able to make it this year Tim. Willing to share any pictures of the new Formula???...you certainly have all of us curious now since spilling the beans!
