66 Sprint cylinder head question

Anyone know what the camshaft oil feed hole size is supposed to be changed to?

You can repair yours per outline above, or buy one from Woodland Sports. (Jerry)

I read you can tap the hole, install a set screw, then drill it out

I've never heard that and it doesn't sound like a good way to correct the metering hole deficiency.
I think If a screw is used it seems it would then make re-drilling the "oil channel" back to correct size harder.
Also, I would be concerned the screw could dislodge then you would have big problems.

If welded/brazed then a new/correct size metering hole can be easily relocated alongside the filled hole,
then it's just a matter of redrilling the "oil channel".

They cost like $20. If they were $200 then I could see attempting some type of repair, however, I would never rely on something screwed in.
