74 GTO 4 speed shifter linkkage question

Is the linkage on a 74 GTO with a four speed the same as used for a 70 GTO? Thanks Steve

Probably not. The '70 GTO 4 speed was usually a Muncie w/Hurst shifter. A '74 GTO 4 speed was usually a Saginaw w/ITM shifter.
