1963 Pontiac Catalina 421 HO tri power 4 speed. Car is in very nice survivor quality condition, was redone in the late 80s so has its bumps and scratches to show its age but presents very well, no rust. Re-lined 8 lugs, 342 posi rear. Ordered new as a 389 tripower 4 speed that was immediately returned to the dealer for a 421 HO to be installed. Has an SR 421 block, 716 heads, correct long branch exhaust manifolds, all numbers back up that it is all correct 63 421 HO. PHS documented $28500

That’s nice!
No PS, no PB, single speed wipers, radio delete, non remote mirror.
Very cool car, I’m partial to ‘63’s.....
Is that Marlin Aqua?

looks like Gulfstream Aqua

ddella22 07-20-2020 07:35 PM

The PHS says Marlin Aqua

Interesting, an SR block. I didn't think Pontiac used the "SR" designation until after 1967. My brother has a 1967 Pontiac 400 service replacment block and from my research, 1967 and earlier won't have "SR." Photo enclosed. It only has a "P" for the Pontiac foundry.

I have seen other SR 63 blocks stamped similarly, I attached the casting number and date code, they all make sense to me
