Harland Sharp

Just giving a shout out to Harland Sharp. I dealt with Randy there. I called and spoke with him i have a set of their shaft rockers that needed to be rebuilt. I told him I bought the set 2nd hand and a few of the rockers had issues with the roller tip. He said rebuild would be about $25 per rocker. I was comfprtable with that cost. He callled when they checked them out, said that 1 had bad needle bearings for the shaft too, he would check the adjustment height that they were left at for any oiling restrictions and get back with me. I offered my Card info then for payment, he declined until the repair was done. I just got the rockers back at no charge for the repair. Thats what I call standing behind their product. They are good guys.

I'm gonna assume that the customer service would be little to none if the company didnt have a distributor here in the US

What is the thing with all the fins? Is that a valley pan? It looks kinda tall for a valley pan.

Scott Stoneburg 09-19-2020 10:31 AM

It is the Valley Pan. Its made by Moon. It sits up taller than the other pans I have used. No issues with the intake itself, but I had to modify the water cross over

Agree! Mine came blister packaged too and even sent me back the adjuster screw that needed to be replaced.

Never knew they made a rocker shaft system for Pontiac... do they make it for EDL heads? I cant find it on their site, just wondering if this is an insider thing where its not listed on the site, you just need to call and order it directly?

SPEED SAFE, NICK

I'm not sure if they do. Have to call and find out. If they don't offer it I'm sure they can make them. I was told by Roland Racing and Harland Sharp these were made per Rolands specs. May have been a 1 off thing.

In 2012 I inquired about a shaft system for E-heads; Randy needed a head to be sent in to set it up off of. I didn’t pursue it tho. A couple years later I sent my rockers in due to some hard spots in the rollers and they rebuilt them for free; excellent customer service!

That's awesome.
Have a set of Crane Gold rockers need rebuilt. Have to check their program.
