Oil changed, fluid levels checked, tire pressures adjusted? Check.
Cleaning and detailing done? Umm, pending.

Looks like I'm about ready to make the trip to Great Bend, anyone else going?

Hey Richard, does it seem like you're just talking to yourself in here?

This race has moved to further than my tow zone...I could do Ark City, and I could do Wichita but now it is too far away...

Finished getting the car ready for the drive to Great Bend. Will be leaving here mid-morning Friday and should take a little over 4 hours to get there.

Given the response to this thread, I hope I'm not the only one to show up.:noidea:

Any word who the guest speaker will be Friday night?

No, I haven't heard who the guest speaker might be. Looks like I'm going to be driving through some rain on the way; guess the top on the convertible will have to stay up this time.

agree. went last year. liked it a lot better at either mentioned as well as when it was in October.

Got an event date for 2019 yet?

I'm assuming it's the first weekend in Sept., (the 6th and 7th); however their website appears to be down or gone so cannot confirm. They have a facebook page but since I don't FB that's no help.

I'd like to attend this event but need to know soon to plan (my wife would be proud of me for planning something in advance). Any info?
